If you want to study at a regular semester program in Korea, you will generally need a D-4 Language Training Visa.

To apply for a D-4 (Language Training) Visa, an international student generally needs the following documents:
✅ Visa Application Form – Available on the Korean embassy website or VFS Global (if applicable).
✅ Passport – Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your stay.
✅ Passport-Sized Photos – Usually 1–2 recent photos (size: 3.5cm x 4.5cm).
✅ Admission Letter (Certificate of Admission) – Issued by the Korean university after acceptance.
✅ Tuition Payment Receipt – Proof that you have paid at least the first semester’s tuition.
✅ Bank Statement – You must show financial stability, typically around ₩10,000,000–₩12,000,000 KRW ($7,500–$9,000 USD) in your account.
✅ Sponsorship Letter (if applicable) – If your parents or a guardian are supporting you, provide their bank statement and a sponsorship letter.
✅ Highest Academic Certificate (Diploma or Transcript) – A high school or university diploma, depending on your background. Some embassies may require it to be notarized or apostilled.
🔹 Personal Statement or Study Plan – Some embassies ask for a brief essay explaining why you want to study in Korea.
🔹 Health Check or TB Test – Required for students from certain countries.
🔹 Criminal Background Check – Not always required, but some embassies may ask for it.
